An unprecedented amount of 'love tokens'! 3 silver William III sixpences in that classic 'S' shape! plus a copper one for Eva. Guy Belding also had an as yet unidentified hammered and a Cartwheel Penny.. However, there can only be one 'find of the day' on this dig and that's Sophie's silver Commonwealth penny 1649-1660 and if that wasn't enough she then topped it off with a stunning cut quarter of King John short cross. Well done Sophie! Two wonderful finds.
