What a beautiful sunny day it was! Lots of land which I would describe as challenging in parts, but it reaped rewards. We had x3 hammered coins, about 11 silver milled coins including Debbie's Napoleon III 1868 silver. The other silvers were mixture of Victorian, George V & VI. Amanda also had a nice Roman coin. Dave Young found a beautiful 'yellow' brooch/pendant which will require further research and Sarah had a very nice Army Cap Badge which cleaned up lovely. Find of the Day however must be the exquisite Seal Matrix found by Robert Hudd on his first dig with the club. Congratulations Rob.
