With fine weather and easy digging, this field did not disappoint. Silver coinage in double figures! Double silver for Carl Moran, Double hammered for Dave Young & some stunning George III silvers came up for others. Special mentions to Eva & Bryn who found their first hammered coins. Well done to you both. Without a doubt though, this weeks Find of the Day goes to Leon for his Seal, the casing maybe 18th Century but the silver seal itself is definitely Roman. An extraordinary find, congratulations Leon.
